Noodles and Nonsense Another Huge Success!!!
We had another great success with Noodles and Nonsense! The food from Pronto Pasta was GREAT! The entertainment was super and over 500 Joyner Families enjoyed a great night!

Science Go Round a HUGE Success
Friday's Science Go Round was a Great Success thanks to all of our parents, staff, and presenters! We had over 15 presenters from all over the U.S. and our students left "charged up" about science!

Large Turnouts for Magnet Open House
Over 30 Families turned out for our Magnet Open House on Thursday, Jan. 21st. Visitors were treated to a tour of the school, individual classrooms, and a question and answer session. We had a very good group of perspective parents and they loved what they saw!
To date, over 120 families have toured Joyner as a magnet choice for their children.

UNC and Worldview
JYJ will be featured in a video production on Technology, Foreign Language, and Global Education by UNC and Worldview to air sometime this Spring. A crew was here Friday to interview Mr. Knott and David Ansbacher, Wake County Director of Magnet Schools, as well as to film student work samples, classroom work, and grade level teacher meetings.
