Culture Eats Structure for Lunch!

Joyner's not just a school, it's a community. It's not a place to be for six years of your life, it's a place that will change the rest of your life.

What Can We Afford to Cut???

That's a question that's being asked all over the State of North Carolina in these tight budget times.  Who can we afford to lay off.  Who can we afford to lose?

If you have been to the adult bathrooms at our school, you have probably read a poster that is on every door.  It states simply, Somebody Needs You "On your Worst Day, You are Still Some Childs' Best Hope."  This is something we truly believe and that we llive.

With this said, I think the answer is simple; We can't afford to lose a single person because we are all some childs' best hope.
