Joyner's not just a school, it's a community. It's not a place to be for six years of your life, it's a place that will change the rest of your life.

Welcome Two New Teachers to Joyner

Please join me in welcoming two new teachers to our JYJ family.

Stacy Arch will be coming to us from Conn Elementary School where she has taught fifth grade the past two years.  Ms. Arch is also a long-time Joyner mom and most recently our PTA President.  Prior to coming to North Carolina, Stacy taught first grade for three years in Michigan.  Known by her colleagues for her creativity and ability as a reading teacher, Stacy will be a valuable addition to our staff.

Also joining us is Cecilie Lewis.  Ms. Lewis has taught middle school and elementary school here in Wake County, most recently as a third grade teacher at Partnership Elementary.  Cecilie is recognized as a tremendously talented teacher by her peers and in 2001, Cecilie was recognized as Wake County's Teacher of the Year.   Cecilie is also already a part of the Joyner family, as her nieces attend Joyner.

We are very excited to add these two outstanding teachers to our faculty.
