Welcome our New Assistant Principal, Leslie Taylor

We are very excited about our newest addition to our Joyner Family, our new Assistant Principal, Leslie Taylor!

Leslie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.(Go Heels!) where she was a NC Principals Fellow.  Most recently she served as Assistant Principal at Leesville Road Middle School.  She has taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 6th grade as well as serving as an Instructional Resource Teacher and a literacy coach.

She also served as project coordinator for a NC Health & Wellness Childhood Overweight & Obesity initiative coordinating efforts and providing staff development for school districts across North Carolina to promote physical activity and healthy living.

She is from a family of educators and her husband is also an Assistant Principal at Timber Drive Elementary.

She enjoys being outside, traveling, reading, watching Carolina sports (Go Heels!!!), and playing with her two year old son.

On an International note, she enjoys keeping up with her"extended families" abroad in Ecuador, Mexico, and Brazil where her exchange student siblings live.
